Solfex partners with LG to offer customers a better choice of solar technologies

Solfex Energy Systems, part of the Travis Perkins Group, has announced a UK distribution partnership with LG Solar. The new partnership means that the range of LG solar panels can now be sold directly through Solfex, or through any of the Travis Perkins plc businesses, including City Plumbing Supplies (CPS) and Plumbing Trade Supplies (PTS).

The MonoX Neon is the newest module within the LG Solar module family and is one of the most efficient panels available on the market. It has a peak power of 300 watts and consumers can benefit from receiving more energy from the same space, thanks to the bi-facial cells and anti-reflection coatings. This means the modules are beneficial for homeowners with small roofs.

Stuart Cooper, Managing Director from Solfex energy systems commented "We are delighted with this new partnership agreement and to be able to offer our customer base photovoltaic modules produced by a strong leading global brand. LG Solar modules have proven high yield performance, combining perfect aesthetics & reliability".

Sven Armbrecht, UK Business Development Manager at LG Solar added, "We are particularly excited about this partnership as Solfex is a highly experienced solar wholesaler with a very quality driven and forward-looking business strategy - so it's a great fit for LG's products. Solfex is one of the most innovative UK distributors and we're looking forward to benefitting from their strong supplier relationships going forward.”
