SBS has partnered with PPL Training to provide a training course on becoming a Domestic Energy Assessor.

Duration: 6 days (includes all 5 domestic property assessments during the course)

Suitable for: renewable energy installers, building companies, new entrants with previous installation knowledge

Certification: City & Guilds (Qualified)

Course fees: £1,600 plus VAT = £1,920 including VAT

Assessment Method: written paper and 5 practical domestic energy assessments

• Qualified Domestic Energy Assessor

• Open to all persons, but especially building companies and MCS Installers

• All 5 domestic visits arranged as part of the course

• Course runs Monday – Saturday (inclusive)

• Discounted local accommodation available

Benefits

• Great for PV installation companies and Green Deal Installers allows holder to perform Domestic Energy Assessments

• All properties will require an energy assessment certificate to claim the higher FITs tariffs from April 2012
