Earthwool Masonry Party Wall Slab is a full fill thermal and acoustic solution for use in masonry cavity party walls between adjoining apartments, semi-detached and terraced houses.

Application Earthwool Masonry Party Wall Slabs are used for the thermal and acoustic insulation of masonry cavity party walls and are friction fitted between wall ties. The product can be used as part of a full fill solution to achieve a zero effective U-value within SAP 2009 which is used to calculate energy consumption for 2010 Building Regulations – Approved Document L (England & Wales) and Technical Handbook Section 6 (Scotland).

Standards Earthwool Masonry Party Wall Slabs are non-combustible glass mineral wool, defined as mineral wool in BS 3533: 1981 and are manufactured in accordance with BSI Quality Assurance Standard BS EN ISO 9001: 2000, and Product Standard EN 13162.

Durability Earthwool Masonry Party Wall Slabs are odourless, rot proof, non-hygroscopic, do not sustain vermin and will not encourage the growth of fungi, mould or bacteria.

Vapour resistance and condensation Earthwool Masonry Party Wall Slabs offer negligible resistance to the passage of water vapour and have a vapour resistivity of 7.00 MNs/g.m.

Earthwool Masonry Party Wall Slabs are free from CFCs, HCFCs and any other material with ozone depletion potential in their manufacture and content and represent no known threat to the environment.

Masonry Party Wall Slab’s manufacture has a low impact on the environment and is classified as Zero ODP and Zero GWP.

Handling and Storage Earthwool Masonry Party Wall Slabs are easy to handle and install, being lightweight and easily cut to size. They are supplied in polythene packs which are designed for short term protection only. For longer term protection on site, the product should either be stored indoors, or under cover and off the ground. Installation instructions are on every pack.

Earthwool Masonry Party Wall Slabs should not be left permanently exposed to the elements.

Density Earthwool Masonry Party Wall Slabs are produced at a minimum density of 18kg/m3.

Fire Masonry Party Wall Slab is classified as Euroclass A1 to BS EN ISO 13501-1.

Acoustics Masonry Party Wall Slab has excellent acoustic absorption characteristics.
